Hall Drop Blade Knife Hall Drop Blade Knife

$70.30

The Hall hoof knife. The choice for Farriers for 25 years. The Hall knife uses high carbon steel that is heat treated and tempered through a time consuming, exacting process. This is done to a level that provides the best edge retention and ease of sharpening. After treating and assembly, each blade is skilfully hand sharpened to provide a superior trim of the frog & sole of the foot.

Choose from several different styles in left and right handed, long or regular handles all with a polished blade.

  • The blade is mounted in an ergonomic handle milled from solid walnut

  • Dipped in a Linseed oil finish,

  • Pinned together and stamped with our mark.

  • Great attention is paid to the fit and feel, with emphasis on a comfortable position in the hand.

Too large a handle can cause strain on wrists and palms, and through years of feedback from customers and farriers Rick has experiemented on handle designs refining a style that provides excellent control of the blade, without inducing fatigue in hands and wrists.
